After being frustrated with the tapping sound of the regular guitar (which sounds more like a wimped out harp), I spent weeks thinking about how I could make the tapping sound more like the real thing.  The solution came with a new guitar design.  I think this Eclectic Guitar is the answer for anybody who is interested in tapping, regardless of their level.  The Eclectic Guitar has a stereo output, which means you can assign each neck to its own amp.  Also, having the necks offset to each other makes for comfortable playing.  I’m sure players who use any kind of tapping technique would love to hop on one of these.  And the bottom neck can be played like any other regular guitar.  My dream is to have the Eclectic Guitar mass-produced so that other players may be inspired to take the guitar to the next level.

Most of my musical influences come from the three countries I have lived in.  There is the Latin Portuguese vibe in there somewhere, quite a bit of African, and of course the rock funk thing that most musicians pickup.  These songs are a collection of tunes from my life experiences.

All the guitar parts you hear on each track are played simultaneously.  There are no overdubs or any other instruments besides drums and occasional vocal.  I programmed all the drums and percussion, and I also did the vocals on My Africa.  ~JoJo
